Lalo Cervantes, General Manager
Lalo brings extensive facility operations and property management experience to his role as General Manager. Prior to joining Rubicon, Lalo supervised facility operations staff and outside vendors for an affordable housing developer with over 1500 rental units. He has extensive experience in construction and project management, gained while directing renovations and energy efficiency upgrades at several housing communities. He was also part of the facility operations team that led the transition from construction to occupancy for the $ 63 million, LEED Gold certified SFJazz Concert Hall.
Kory Hopkins, Director of Landscape Operations
Kory’s brings a strong background in the wholesale irrigation industry and 17 years of account management experience in the commercial landscape industry to his role as Director of Landscape Operations. Kory supports our branch offices as well as our landscape maintenance, water management and landscape installation service lines. Kory has an excellent background in customer service, with an emphasis on developing pro-active solutions to a customer’s landscaping needs. He also possesses a Qualified Applicators License.
Chris Carper, Construction Superintendent
Chris holds a C-27 Landscape Contractors License and brings 17 years of extensive landscape installation experience to his role as a Construction Superintendent with Rubicon Landscape.
Lourdes Haro, Business Administrator
Lourdes has over 10 years of project management experience gained while working with senior leaders in the managed health care industry in the areas of sales, training and construction contracting. She graduated from U.C. Berkelely with B.A. degrees in Rhetoric and International Area Studies. The most recent addition to our management team, Lourdes' industry-related certifications include a PMI accredited Project Management Certificate from U.C. Berkeley Extension.
Steve Jeffery, Project Manager
Steve has been with Rubicon Landscape for over 15 years, serving as a Project Manager and Estimator for our Landscape Installation divison. Steve has degrees in Plant Science and Ornamental Horticulture, is Bay-Friendly Qualified, and brings more than 25 years of management experience in the retail nursery, landscape installation and commercial landscape maintenance to his projects.
Larry Brunink, Business Developer
Larry has been with Rubicon Landscape for over 14 years, bringing his passion for Rubicon Program’s mission and over 25 years of landscape industry sales and management experience to the company. Larry has a Qualified Applicator License and is Bay-Friendly Qualified.
David Caldwell, Peninsula Account Manager
David brings a strong customer service background to Rubicon Landscape gained from 30 years of experience in the building maintenance and property management industries.
Charlie Kansaku, South Bay Maintenance Supervisor
Charlie has served for 15 years as a Rubicon Landscape team member and has over 25 years of experience as a maintenance supervisor and site superintendent in the commercial landscape maintenance and installation industry.
